Where Do We Go After Death?

Religious systems and atheism have different points of view on the existence of man after death.

Some of the predominant views are:
1) Reincarnation or rebirth or transmigration – A living being starts a new life in a different physical body or form after each biological death. Most of the eastern religions including Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism hold this concept.
2) Ghosts – The dead soul become a ghost and wander around
3) Purgatory- Some church traditions like Roman Catholicism, hold the concept of purgatory. Based on this concept, a dead soul go to a place called purgatory where he pays for the price of his sin by the prayers and religious creeds of his dear and near.
4) Cease to exist – Based on this thought, man cease to exist by his death and there is no after life.
