Imminence is the belief that Christ can return for his church at any moment and that no predicted event will intervene before that return.
Two extremes to be avoided:
• Rapture paralysis – those who become paralyzed with the concept of rapture and lead a lazy life.
• Date setting – Bible gives no direction to set a certain date for the rapture event
